Back in 1998...I had this friend that worked at this particular group of stations...I would beg him to take me to his job so I could see all of the cool things he got to do....let me not forget to mention that I was a total Big Dog Groupie at the time...I would listen all the time and call-in and win stuff..you get the picture...then...it happend...I met a particualr Big Dog D.J. and I was in LOVE.....LOL...so that fueled the fire....I thought to myself....I love Rock....I love Big Dog...and this night jock is the hottest guy ever....I need a job there!!!! So...after whining to this friend of mine...about how badly I wanted to work in radio....a job opening came up and I got hired...as a producer...I never really thought....about being on-air...or anything else...At the time..I was just happy to be in the atmosphere and hanging out with this hot guy... and get paid to do it....Thanks Robert...and Thanks to Aaron for being hot(so...I said I would leave out names....but I lied.)
So....for the past ten years....(with the exception of the time I ran off with this band to be a roadie for 6 or 7 months...that's an even longer story) I have been here....still loving Rock and being a Big Dog groupie....and loving every minute of it...I have had the pleasure of working with many Talented and Exceptional people throughout my time of working here and I am thankful to all of them for teaching me how to do the things I love more than anything else in the world.
I am even more fortunate to be able to serve those that Love Rock music as music as much as me....Do what you love and love what you do...never let anyone tell you...that you can't.
MOST IMPORTANTLY.....THANK YOU FOR LISTENING TO BIG DOG 106...YOU ARE THE HEART THAT KEEPS ROCK MUSIC PUMPING.
